The Venator II-class star destroyer is an extensive refit of the venerable Venator-class star destroyer, constructed in the later years of the Galactic Republic as a stopgap for the new Imperial Navy as it transitioned from the Venator to the new Imperial-class, using many prefab components, such as the Kuat superstructure and a modified, smaller, Kuat standardized bridge module. The wedge-shaped Imperial Star Destroyer is a capital ship bristling with weapons. Its bustling bridge would be staffed by the finest crewers in the Imperial starfleet. The Resurgent-class Star Destroyer is the biggest known variant of the Venator-Design Star Destroyers. They all have a huge midsection and 6 indentations, instead of 4 or 2.
